30 Degrees North Yacht Service is looking for a senior level marine technician with marine industry experience to join the service team in Orange Beach, Alabama! The Technician must be self-motivated and willing to service diesel and gas engines, fiberglass and wood repair, electrical troubleshooting and new electronic installations, generator repair and new installations, stabilizer repair and installations, A/C repairs and service, and general maintenance and service of marine vessels. Applicant must be mechanically inclined, own their own set of tools, work well with others, dependable, organized, and able to work in multiple conditions.
Summary
As a Marine Service Technician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of marine vessels, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. Reporting to the Manager, you will utilize your core skills in rigging, mechanical knowledge, and hand tools to perform complex repairs and maintenance tasks. Additionally, your relevant skills in marine maintenance, service repairs, and customer service will be essential in delivering high-quality support to our clients and contributing to the overall success of our marine operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on marine vessels, utilizing mechanical knowledge and hand tools.
- Assemble and rig gas and diesel equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency in operations.
- Utilize power tools and perform marine service maintenance as needed.
- Interpret technical documents to troubleshoot issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and inquiries.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
