About The Role:
Arbor Homes, one of the largest homebuilders in Indiana and a Berkshire Hathaway company is currently looking for an End User Experience Technician. The right candidate is a very likeable person with great “bedside manners”, a strong desire to help people and fix problems, solid desktop and network support technical skills, and can work both independently and as part of a cohesive team. This role will provide desktop and network support across Ohio (Worthington/Columbus, Dayton/Cincinnati) for Sales offices and will require travel.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Provide an exceptional customer service experience in a positive manner
- Be a clear and positive communicator at all times
- Work collaboratively with all members of IT, ensuring urgent issues are assigned and communicated for immediate attention.
- Greet our internal customers, respond quickly and attentively with focus on them as you work to remedy their request.
- Ask open ended, qualifying questions to identify and resolve internal customer’s needs as an entry level, “Tier 1/2” technician
- Support for Sales models in the Worthington/Columbus and Dayton/Cincinnati area. (Approximately 15% of the role. Travel is compensated)
- Ability to communicate well and in a professional manner through in-person conversation, phone calls, email, and chat or instant messaging, as well as the support ticketing system
- Be diligent in creating tickets for walk ups to track volume and types of issues handled.
- Able to gather information, triage, obtain screenshots, ask questions, and create tickets
- Monitor, manage, configure and deploy spares equipment, staying abreast of inventory required minimum quantities and requesting stock be ordered to replenish.
- Responsible to ensure meeting room technology is in working order and support as needed to ensure upcoming meetings are successful with technology needs
- Distributes new and replacement equipment for onboarding and tech refresh for employees
- Brings ideas to add efficiencies and process improvements to role.
- Troubleshoots, repairs, or replaces equipment such as computers, monitors, printers, peripherals, smart phones, tablets, headphones, conference room tablets, smart televisions, network devices, etc.
- Conduct next day follow up on resolved tickets
- Be on the leading edge of ensuring our company is meeting all necessary security requirements, adherence to policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years in supporting end user technologies
Comptia A and Network certifications preferred
Microsoft certifications or coursework completed is a plus
Must have experience providing stellar customer service
