Arbor Homes, one of the largest homebuilders and largest residential land developer in Indiana and a Berkshire Hathaway Company, is looking to hire a Development HOA Coordinator to manage the Property Management Companies at all Arbor communities in Indiana and consult for Ohio. The job entails working in a flexible, fast paced, team environment while assisting in the management of HOA Management Companies, contractors, schedules, and budgets over all Arbor Communities.

What Will You Be Doing?
- Manage HOA communications, budgets and turnover for Arbor developments once project is complete.
- Setup of new community HOA entities for new communities.
- Help to manage budgets, bid awards and contracts with HOA Property Management Companies.
- Coordinate with Land Development Project Managers, Entitlement Managers and Staff in utilities and municipalities to complete necessary work and inspections including assisting having HOA Documents in place prior to final plat recording for release of building permits.
- Work with HOA Property Management companies to award: contracts in mowing, landscaping, snow removal, pond treatments, irrigation and all necessary third parties to keep Arbor communities in excellent condition.
- Work with Arbor land team members to establish processes and training for HOA administration.
- Drive communities to check on appearance and compliance. Review model landscaping and vacant lot mowing status and coordinate with mowing contractor for those mowing services as well.
What Will You Bring?
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required. Pertinent job-related experience is more important.
- Computer proficiency with MS Word and Excel and Smartsheet a plus.
- Any experience with accounting and dealing with HOA Property Management is a plus and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in this field is preferred
- Ability to learn quickly on the job
- Ability to communicate effectively with Property Management companies, attorneys, contractors, municipalities, and peers.
