Infant and Toddler Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Infants and Toddler Teacher to join our Quality Rated Three Star and COA Accredited EAGLE Learning Center for infants and toddlers. Our ideal candidate will create a stimulating environment that supports the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social growth of each child while engaging them in a play-based learning approach.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and tailored to the physical, social, and emotional development of students, with a particular focus on language development and literacy skills.
• Support the emotional and social development of children through interactive and engaging activities.
• Attend to the personal hygiene needs of each child, including diaper changes, soiled clothing management, and handwashing.
• Foster respectful and nurturing relationships with all children, conveying professionalism in all interactions.
• Implement lesson plans that facilitate enriching activities and opportunities for exploration, curiosity, and problem-solving that align with developmental stages.
• Maintain communication with parents and guardians regarding children’s progress and well-being.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; a Child Development Associate credential or a Technical Certificate of Credit (TCC) in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related curriculum is preferred.
• Minimum of one year of experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Must possess the stamina, maturity, and temperament necessary for engaging with young children effectively.
• Willingness to be trained in basic first aid and CPR to ensure the safety of all children in your care.
