Therapy Aide

Job Summary
The Rehabilitation Technician plays a vital role in supporting the rehabilitation team in delivering high-quality patient care. This position involves assisting with both outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation services, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support during their recovery process. The ideal candidate will have an interest in pursuing education the healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Assist physical therapists and occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient service by helping patients with exercises and mobility tasks.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and organized.
• Monitor patient progress during sessions, documenting observations and reporting any concerns to the rehabilitation team.
• Educate patients on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery.
• Support the rehabilitation team with administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
• Engage with patients compassionately, fostering a supportive atmosphere that encourages participation in their rehabilitation process.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
