Job Description
In support of The Center for Pursuit’s mission and values, the Program Support Manager is under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Residential Services.
The selected candidate will oversee a light caseload while providing program managers direction and support. Will be responsible for performance evaluations of assigned staff. The Program Support Manager will help to promote a mutually respectful, cohesive, and high-performing office environment as the position also serves as a liaison for affiliates and other internal departments. This position plays a key role in the general business operation of the department by monitoring the financial accounts to ensure Medicaid eligibility is current and active.
Education: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in social services strongly preferred but not required.
Experience: One (1) year office management experience in a social service arena and five (5) or more years of experience working with I/DD population in a residential setting.
Competencies: Exercises independent judgment while performing high-level organizational and administrative functions, which is critical to success in a fast-paced environment that presents a wide range of technically complex and sensitive issues requiring discretion and confidentiality.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for the supervision of assigned staff.

- Supports and provides guidance to program managers. Supervises assigned staff.
- Will provide relief when Program Managers and Medicaid Specialist are on extended leave.
- Assist clients with shopping needs to ensure account balances are under Medicaid guidelines.
- This position will assist with management of residents’ financial affairs, which includes process banking.
- Handles administrative requests and queries from senior managers.
- Serves as a department liaison with community associates and internal departments.
- Administers purchase order process expenses for all services expenses.
- Performs resident account reconciliations and identify ways to streamline, automate and improve the process.
- Professionally communicates with families, providers, and other stakeholders via phone and email.
- Maintains files and records in a secure place while upholding strict confidentiality.
- Conducts regular on-site visits to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of clients.
