Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Gas and Diesel Mechanics to join our team. As a Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles and equipment. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Perform electrical repairs and diagnostics on vehicles
- Conduct brake repairs and replacements
- Provide tire services, including rotations and replacements
- Perform maintenance and repairs on dealership vehicles
- Repair air brake systems
- Serve as a service technician for dump trucks
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and explaining repairs
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic, preferably in an automotive or dealership setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and diagnostics
- Proficiency in brake repair and replacement
- Familiarity with tire service procedures
- Experience working with air brake systems is preferred
- Ability to solder electrical connections is a plus
- Knowledge of tractor-trailer maintenance is beneficial
- Excellent customer service skills
