Job Summary: We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Associate / Insulation Quality Control (QC) professional to join our team. The Warehouse Associate / QC will be responsible for safely handling and organizing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. They will ensure that our insulation materials and installations meet high standards of quality and compliance. This role involves inspecting materials, overseeing installations, and documenting findings to maintain project integrity and safety. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Warehouse Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of materials in the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety guidelines.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures is a plus.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, is a plus.
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
Insulation Quality Control (QC) Responsibilities:
- Inspect insulation materials upon delivery and during installation to ensure they meet specifications and 31W standards.
- Document inspection results and collaborate with teams to address any quality issues promptly.
- Provide guidance to installation teams on proper techniques and compliance with 31W standards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections.
Experience:
- Previous experience in quality control or inspection, preferably in insulation or construction, but not required.
- Knowledge of insulation materials, installation methods, and relevant industry standards, is a plus.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to insulation, is a plus.
Skills:
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documenting inspection findings.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and contractors.
- Problem-solving ability to address quality issues effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
