Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining the smooth operation of our warehouse by loading, unloading, and moving materials efficiently and safely. Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a cherry-picker to move products and materials around the warehouse.
- Load and unload shipments from trucks and containers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
- Utilize basic math skills to ensure accurate counting and weighing of products.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient shipping and receiving procedures.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Familiarize yourself with the warehouse management system and apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues.

Experience:

- Previous experience as a Forklift Operator or in a related role is essential.
- Proven experience with heavy equipment operation, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Knowledge of basic math and mechanical principles.
- Experience with shipping and receiving procedures in a warehouse setting.
