What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spray Dry Operator position at 3151 Consulting?
Summary:
The Spray Dry Operator will be responsible to produce consumer goods as specified by the needs of customers and directed through the Production Supervisor. The Spray Dry Operator will need to maintain a high level of responsibility and work ethic in order to meet production requirements.
Responsibilities
- Verify correct product to add/load to the mixing tank and weigh materials for each batch.
- Ensure materials are mixed accurately per batch recipe
- Transfer liquids as needed and run the Dryer as directed on each batch sheet
- Accurately and completely fill out paperwork as needed
- Disassemble, clean, sanitze and reassemble equipment during wash-ups
Requirements
- High School Diploma preferred and prior experience in manufacturing.
- Minimum 1-3 years of packing compounding experience and understanding of special formula instructions
- Knowledge of G.M.P’s (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
- Forklift experience a plus
- Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours
- Ability to lift, frequently move and push/pull up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
- Willingness to work in a facility with no climate control, exposed to local temperature variations (hot & cold)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
