Assistant Men's Fashion Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the seasonal development of innerwear and loungewear.
• Follow up on fabric and trim developments.
• Maintain detailed binders of all seasonal fabrications, lab dips, trims, and bulk fabric and trim approvals.
• Review and provide comments on lab dip and approve trim and fabric submissions.
• CAD work for style development.
• Create Tech Packs.
• Assist in the creation of presentations.
• Develop and maintain line sheets within each season.
• Communicate with the overseas office and follow up on sample progress.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1-2 years of experience in the fashion industry, (Knitwear is a plus).
• Knowledge of garment construction & basic knitwear techniques.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Proficiency in Excel, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions precisely.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic are essential.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
