Position Summary:
The Associate Dentist will provide high-quality dental care to our patients, working closely with hygienists and dental assistants to ensure a seamless and comfortable patient experience. This role involves diagnosing and treating oral health issues, performing a variety of dental procedures, and promoting preventive care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health conditions.
- Perform general dentistry procedures, including restorations, extractions, crowns, bridges, and root canals.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists to develop and review patient treatment plans.
- Work closely with dental assistants to prepare for and assist during procedures.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and practice standards.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
- State dental license and certification.
- Strong clinical skills in general dentistry; additional expertise in specialties is a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members.
