Job Description:
A packing room employee’s job responsibilities include packing all daily orders, keeping the packing room stocked and maintained, and assisting in the warehouse as needed. Packing room employees play a key role in company success and customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers receive their orders complete, and well packaged to prevent damage.
Responsibilities:
- Packing all daily orders in a timely and reliable manner
- Inspect each order for accuracy and that all items are in good condition
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work space at all times
- Maintain stock levels for packing supplies (boxes, tape, paper, etc.)
- Maintain equipment, such as tape machines, on a weekly basis
- Be observant of orders dates to ensure oldest orders are being shipped out first
- Complete any additional tasks assigned by warehouse lead
- Assist in the warehouse as needed
- Completing side work regularly (pre-packs, cleaning, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team focused
- Able to stand for full 8 hour shift
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
