Job Description
This position helps support the restaurant and bar teams to maintain exceptionally high levels and volumes of service to create memorable guest experiences with pride and passion. As a lead member of our front-of-house service team, you will greet customers, make and confirm reservations, and manage waitstaff to ensure the highest level of customer service. You would be responsible for both the logistic details, including reservations and arrangements for large parties, as well as setting the overall ambiance and atmosphere of the restaurant space. Our ideal candidate has considerable prior experience in high-end food service environments, an impeccable demeanor, customer service skills, and logistical and organizational acumen.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make, adjust, and cancel customer reservations.
- Greet customers and guide them to their tables.
- Answer customer questions regarding food, drinks, and specials.
- Resolve customer complaints or disputes.
- Manage waitstaff to ensure efficient and excellent service throughout a given seating.
- Complies with the organization’s sustainability standards.
- Complies with organization policies and job standards.
- Completes all other duties as needed.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- At least 2 years of related work experience in a high-end, fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Knowledge in food, wine/liquor/beer and other beverages, and restaurant seating standards.
- Adaptive organizational skills and ability to change plans to meet new circumstances.
- Sound judgment, tact, and ability to make independent decisions regarding planning, organizing, and problem-solving.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, squatting, lifting, and carrying (food, beverages, trays, inventory, etc.) for extended periods. Ability to read, answer phones, write emails and other correspondence, to work effectively in a restaurant environment as well as an office environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Alcohol service certification.
- ServSafe certification.
- Strong organizational skills and diligent attention to detail.
- Ability to make decisions and work independently with a team.
