ROLE SUMMARY: If you are interested in a hands-on, continuous improvement-oriented, fast-paced role in a world-class engineering/manufacturing environment then our Electrical Plant Technical Expert is for you. This is a chance to be problem solving on the fly to ensure we meet our production goals. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide electrical technical leadership to solve medium to long range process-based problems in a specific area of operations Manage around 20 hourly union electricians including scheduling, supervising, development, etc. Track and report on equipment uptime, maintenance specific metrics, and cost performance and initiate processes to control costs Utilize standard management tools (VPO) to achieve critical metric targets close gaps in performance (root cause analysis, SIC, MCRS, 5 Why’s, PDCA and SCDA cycles, etc.) Analyze raw material usage data and coordinate with line owners to identify usage trends and to develop performance improvement initiatives Champion Equipment Good Operating Practices (GOPs) Lead learning and development initiatives to improve the technical knowledge and skill set of operators and technicians within area of expertise. Develop and maintain operating standards for area of expertise. Promote and enforce effective change management for new materials or equipment used/installed in area of expertise. Develop, Document, & Implement process improvements to make the teams more effective and efficient. Execute capital plan for area including equipment overhauls and upgrades. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: BS degree in Engineering preferred, technical degree required. Minimum 2 years’ experience in an Engineering environment. Well-developed cross-functional problem solving & multi-tasking abilities, leads by example, acts as an owner, results oriented & strong customer focus skills; ability to lead change. Highly focused on results and providing a structured, systematic approach to delivering solutions Detail oriented, schedule driven and strong planning skills needed for handling multiple projects, experience in sustainable project execution. Ability to extract, evaluate and utilize data for process improvement from applicable systems Belt methodology and/or lean methods experience a plus Knowledge of the OSHA Safety and Health regulations a plus WHY ANHEUSER-BUSCH: Anheuser-Busch has always dreamed big.
