Your Role in Our Team
In this per diem role, you will work in a secure setting alongside our team to provide quality care. You will assist Physical Therapists in implementing patient care plans and help restore and enhance performance in mentally and physically impaired patients.
You will communicate patient progress or problems to supervisors and other team members, assist with patient scheduling, and post charges daily to patient records. Additionally, you will document patient care according to regulatory requirements and instruct patient families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and clean condition while adhering to our Code of Business Conduct, professional standards, and applicable state/federal laws. Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA program
- Current state licensure as Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA or equivalent in states where services are rendered
- CPR certification (when required)
