ABOUT THE ROLE
Gary Community Ventures is seeking a detail-oriented temporary Executive Assistant (EA) to provide high-level support to our Chief Executive Officer. This role will report to the Chief of Staff and is part of the Office of the President and CEO. This role demands exceptional organizational skills, a high level of discretion, and the ability to anticipate the complex scheduling needs of our CEO. This role is temporary, and is expected to last for approximately 3 months. Hours will vary and flex up or down depending upon business need and will likely be between 15-20 hours per week, with a requirement to be in office regularly. Transportation expenses (Parking or RTD) will be compensated.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Conduct daily debriefs with the Chief of Staff and CEO to discuss immediate scheduling, calendaring, and administrative needs.
- With the help of the Chief of Staff, proactively manage the CEO’s complex schedule, ensuring meetings, deadlines, and priorities are seamlessly aligned.
- Act as a liaison between the executive and internal/external stakeholders, maintaining utmost confidentiality and prioritizing inquiries.
- Manage logistics for events, conferences, and travel itineraries, ensuring flawless execution.
- Track and input all expenses utilizing Expensify in a timely manner.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- 2 years of experience supporting C-suite executives or senior leaders in an organization
- Tech savvy with advanced knowledge of Google Suite products, Salesforce, collaboration & communication tools (such as Slack) and virtual meeting platforms.
- Articulate, concise, and polished in both written and verbal communication.
- Detail oriented with a high-level professionalism and follow-through
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This role operates in a typical business environment working in our office location located in downtown Denver at Union Station. This role routinely uses a computer and its voice or video call capabilities. This role requires sitting and staring at a computer and talking via voice and video calls.
