Continuity of Operations Information Communications Technology Specialist

Key Role:

Apply a broad understanding of how to plan, implement, sustain, and improve Continuity of Operations (COOP) information communications technologies that enable a large organization to sustain its communications capabilities when required to execute in the face of disruptions to its normal operational environment. Facilitate collective problem solving, analysis and implementation of new solutions and best practices. Serve as a Continuity of Operations (COOP) planner supporting Information Communications Technologies (ICT) integration for a Combatant Command. Oversee the strategic planning, implementation, and deployment of ICT solutions, including hardware and software used as well as the means to transmit across multiple classified and unclassified networks. Develop and execute plans for sustainment, training, and exercises for continuity-related ICT resiliency. Implement an evolving COOP ICT structure and CONOPS and trainings. Provide full-spectrum, senior-level consultant SME support, working with external organizations and agencies, leveraging well developed relationships and understanding of roles and responsibilities within the DoD, other Combatant Commands, defense agencies, and elements. This position requires the ability to travel regionally and internationally.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience at the Major Command level or higher

• 3 years of experience with operational-level planning

• Ability to travel regionally and internationally approximately 25% of the time

• TS/SCI clearance

• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications:

• Experience with Mission Assurance

• Experience with ICT Resilience

• Possession of excellent analytical skills at the operational level

• Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

• Master's degree

• Professional Continuity Practitioner (PCP), Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or other continuity certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,600.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
