Key Role:
Provide political-military research and analysis in support of strategic and operational planning. Collaborate with and across Combatant Commands, Service Components, other U.S. agencies, allies, and partners to support strategy development, identify gaps and opportunities, prioritize engagements, and advise senior leaders. Plan, support, analyze, execute, and report on working groups, conferences, symposiums, workshops, multinational events, and other meetings and engagements to support political-military objectives. Advise military leadership, including senior flag officers. Compile multiple sources of information and results into actionable, understandable products.
Basic Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience with the military decision-making process (MDMP) or the Joint Planning Process
- 7 year of experience with the Department of Defense (DoD), including Combatant Commands
- 5 years of experience with future-year strategic and operational planning
- 5 years of experience providing analysis, writing reports, and briefing senior military officers
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of key national, DoD, and Joint Staff strategic guidance
- Top Secret clearance
- Master’s degree
Additional Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience working with DoD military strategists and planners
- 5 years of experience developing or contributing to the development of plans and strategies
- Experience with special operations
- Experience researching various military and international affairs topics
- Experience with military posture
- Experience with strategic communications and information capabilities
- Experience making reserve manpower requests, official representation funds, and other implementation authorities to support engagements
- Knowledge of command structures in Europe, and European theater strategy, plans, policies, and guidance
- Possession of excellent analytic and problem-solving skills
- Graduate of an Advanced Military Studies Program such as the School of Advanced Warfighting (SAW), Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAW), School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), School of Advanced Air and Space Studies (SAASS), or Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) II
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
