Location BSH Bronson South Haven Title Materials Technician- 32 hours weekly/ 1st shift - South Haven Provide a comprehensive array of material services, which may require one or more of the following functions: linen services, distribution and receiving responsibilities, equipment management, driving a company truck to deliver supplies to outside Bronson entities, or mail center duties. The purpose of these functions is to provide the organization with material services, which promote quality healthcare in the most effective manner. High school diploma or equivalent education required. Previous experience in customer service preferred. One weekend per month and rotating holidays required Dependent upon job duties, a valid State of Michigan driver's license (Chauffeur's or Commercial Driver's License), DOT certification and insurability through Bronson's carrier may be required. Mental & Visual Fatigue: Work which rarely produces a high level of mental/visual fatigue, i.e., less than 20 percent of the work time.Physical Effort: Involves regularly lifting of bulky or moderately heavy weights (i.e., up to 50 pounds) and occasionally assisting with heavier tasks or expending the equivalent effort in pushing, pulling, or otherwise handling material, equipment and other objects.
