Additional Information: Strong analytical skills are required for this position. 5 years experience preparing physician compensation is required. Job Summary: Provides high level analytical and operational support to RSFPP/RSFHA leadership in the form of budget preparation, pro forma analysis, physician contract administration, financial and operational presentations, reimbursement analysis and other similar items. Perform duties to assist in all functions necessary for timely, accurate internal and external reporting and to meet goals. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduation from an accredited four-year institute of higher learning with a degree in accounting, finance or business. MBA or MHA preferred. Experience: Five years experience in financial management or healthcare administration or comparable experience in the public accounting field. Experience in financial management in healthcare preferred. Licensure/Certification: CPA preferred. Primary Source Verification (if applicable): N/A Knowledge/Skills: Must be able to work independently Supports the initiatives of the Physician Network. Ability to manage and operate department within budgetary guidelines. Ability to identify process improvements, develop new processes/procedures to improve quality, efficiency, and/or customer service, and carry through to implementation. Perform all functions assigned in an accurate and timely manner, as well as ability to organize and present information in a neat and effective manner. Produce presentation quality reports accurately translating data into meaningful information used for decision making. Ability to direct, monitor and lead other staff members within the RSFHA and RSFPP organizations and from other RSF departments working together to complete projects. Extensive knowledge and in-depth understanding of financial principles including analysis of corporate financial statement cost reports, variance analysis and budgeting. Broad operational understanding of the internal and external health care environment is required. Excellent understanding of the continuum of healthcare services offered by RSF. Ability to exercise good judgment in areas of high complexity when the situation warrants. Advanced skill in general office software such as Excel, Work, Office, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. Other: Positive attitude, and ability to motivate and direct staff members. A proactive approach to problem solving, and willingness to take initiative. Team player. Work Demands/Environment: Frequent sitting. Frequently requires long periods of working at a computer. Intermittent walking, standing, stooping, bending. May require lifting or moving items up to 25 lbs. Frequent use of finger/hand dexterity. Constant talking or hearing. Corrected hearing and vision to normal range. No exposure to blood, body fluids or tissue. Possible exposure to infectious materials, communicable diseases and/or other conditions common to a healthcare environment. Normal office environment. Requires work under stressful conditions, deadlines, and/or irregular hours. Ability to read and comprehend. Travel between facilities may be required.
