What would this role do?
The Staffing Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring optimal staffing levels to support operational demands. This candidate will manage employee and patient schedules, assign shifts, and oversee time-off requests while upholding company policies. Effective communication with the local office, leadership, and Direct Support Professionals (DSP) is essential for resolving scheduling conflicts and maintaining accurate records.

Role Responsibilities (Here’s what it takes)
- Lives the Company’s business theory of customer focus, total participation, continuous improvement, leadership, and mutual learning.
- Manages all staff and client schedules and availability.
- Participates, leads, and is accountable for their team’s data collection.
- Determines staffing shortfalls, reporting job vacancies, and addressing scheduling issues to direct supervisors and Program Coordinators.
- Supports all Administrative and Clinical Teams.
- Confirms staff working hours to ensure accurate employee compensation.
- Produces daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports to confirm rendered hours, premium pay, scheduling discrepancies, non-service hours, and mileage.
- Reviews, approves, and denies time off requests while following company protocols.
- Identifies coverage needs and updates scheduling coverage in scheduling system.
- Reviews employee referral submissions.
- Performs responsibilities of a hiring manager including ensuring meeting recruiting goals, interviewing, scheduling new hire orientation, and assigning training.
Must Haves (Yes, we have needs!)
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 year(s) of customer service and strong knowledge of administrative duties.
- 1 year(s) of previous healthcare experience in related areas. (preferred)
- Data entry experience
Nice to haves (Very demure, very mindful)
- Administrative experience, scheduling experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a high paced, competitive, performance-based environment.
- Ability to multi-task with a high sense of urgency
- Computer savvy with thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Self-motivated, responsible, honest, and articulate.
- Customer service focused with excellent interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, boundaries, and composure.
