Imports Customer Service Representative - Port Drayage & Warehousing

Major qualifications include experience in all phases of freight forwarding and Sales , and international cargo logistics. Requires strong working knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other international trade controls.

Strong knowledge and experience in successfully handling cargo logistics into austere, and conflict regions of the world.

Required Skill Sets:

· Hazmat Expertise: Equipped to handle hazardous materials paperwork

· Certified Professionals: Our team includes hazmat-certified drivers and personnel.

· Homeland Security: Adheres to strict security standards and regulations.

· CERS Registered: Demonstrates commitment to environmental sustainability.

- Experience with a wide range of logistics solutions, including warehousing, transportation, and distribution.

Experience and Expertise:

· 2 Years of Experience: Proven track record in the logistics industry.

Other Duties:

- Knowledge of Customs Bonded and FTZ specifications

- Billing Experience - Invoicing customers based on warehousing and drayage specifications

- Knowledge and experience of assembling a permit file for CBP audits

- Understand and apply carrier selection, timelines, and pricing decisions for all cargo logistics solutions

- Experience working with customs brokers.

- Strong knowledge of Import/export air and ocean, and domestic logistics.

-Generate estimates for shipping cost.

-Maintain accurate records of shipments and track their progress to ensure issues are promptly addressed and goods are delivered on time.

-Constant communications with customers.

-Generating export and import documents, bills of lading, and other required documents.

- Sending pre-alerts to international offices and agents for export container and air shipments.

-Coordinating with customs for clearance and release of import shipments.

-Assisting global agents with request for rates, handling of import cargo on their behalf.

-Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical details and numbers accurately.

-Demonstrated ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced, changing environment.

-Process analytical and problem-solving skills, customer focused, and results oriented.

-Strong interpersonal skills to develop productive partnerships with peers and vendors
