We are seeking laborers for a long term job in_ Philadelphia PA_
** Please note this job does not offer per diem**
to assist with assembling, arranging, and installing furniture aboard U.S. Navy ships. Work areas include galleys, state rooms, and other designated ship spaces.Responsibilities:
- Interpret furniture layouts and specifications.
- Assemble and arrange furniture based on ship design plans.
- Utilize hand and power tools for assembly and installation.
- Maneuver and lift furniture in confined ship environments.
- Collaborate with shipyard personnel, suppliers, and project managers.
- Adhere to safety protocols and meet project deadlines.
Requirements:
- Experience in furniture assembly or labor roles
- Basic carpentry skills and familiarity with furniture assembly techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints and design plans.
- Physical strength and agility for lifting and maneuvering furniture in tight spaces.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Compliance with safety regulations.
Working Days: Monday - Friday
Working Hours: 8 - 10 hours
Job Length: Indefinite - long term
