Our client, a leading global industrial manufacturer, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to support their diverse portfolio of companies.
In this high-profile and strategically important role, you will work closely with the Group President and senior leadership team, providing key financial planning, analysis, and insights to inform business decisions. This is a critical position offering significant exposure within the organization. The role is based in Columbus OH, with regular travel required across the U.S.
The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with a solid background in manufacturing, with expertise in costing, FP&A, and a proven ability to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making across multi-functional areas.
Essential Functions
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business unit leaders and senior executives, to understand their challenges, priorities, and strategic objectives.
Analyze financial data to generate actionable insights that help business leaders make informed decisions. This includes analyzing revenue, costs, profitability, and other KPIs.
Support business leaders by providing financial models, analysis, and recommendations to inform decisions, such as investments, cost reduction strategies, product pricing, and resource allocation.
Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential outcomes of different business strategies, helping leaders understand the financial implications
Align financial planning with the company’s long-term strategic goals, ensuring that resources are effectively allocated to support growth and sustainability.
Involvement
- Strategic projects to define the future of the Group in the US and how we get there
- Partnership - working cross functionally with operating company management teams to help them define and execute on opportunities to unlock value for the company
- Incubation of new businesses: working on exciting growth initiatives from conception to execution
- Partnerships with other leading initiatives to drive strategic outcomes
What we are Seeking:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a Related Field, required. MBA or Master's Or other certification is preferred
- 5 years Experience in Financial Analysis or Accounting or Public
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Business Partnering or Cross-Functional Collaboration: A consultative style and experience working with non-finance teams (e.g., commercial, marketing, operations) supporting business decisions
- Strong commercial and business acumen
- Travel up to 50%
Salary : $175,000 - $210,000
