A stable and reputable manufacturing company in New Haven County is looking for an experienced, reliable, and motivated Quality Control Manager.

The Position :
The Quality Control Manager will oversee the efficiency of production and manufacturing processes to ensure that products are up to company and industry standards.
Job duties include :
Assure quality of parts being run meet customer standards and Work Order specifications
Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
Train and manage production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
Perform detailed and recorded inspections of final products to ensure products are up to industry and company standards
Eliminate products that are not up to standards, identifying the reasons for issues
Check incoming materials and outgoing parts for quality
Maintain accurate quality information on all products
Follow and maintain corrective and preventive action procedures
Contact customers and vendors to resolve quality issues
Generate Quality Plans and ensure adherence to the company's stated Quality Policy
Aid President in maintaining Quality System and procedures
Create Key Performance Indicators to ensure quality across the company
About You :
High school diploma, Bachelor's Degree preferred
3-5 years Quality Control Management experience and proven ability to manage 15-25 people within multiple shifts. Preference given to experience in finishing industry.
Ability to use micrometers, calipers and other measuring devices
Excellent math skills
Ability to read blueprints required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Detail oriented with a passion for maintaining quality standards
