360 Talent Avenue is seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Early Childhood Substitute Teacher for a well-established private Jewish school in Brooklyn, NY.
Join a passionate team of professional faculty and staff dedicated to developing a Reggio-inspired school within a supportive and creative community. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children and thrive in a collaborative, engaging environment.
Must Speak Hebrew
Pay Range : $50K - $60K per year, depending on experience and position.
What you’ll do :
- Lead instructional and classroom management processes while maintaining high-level care and educational standards in the absence of the regular classroom teacher.
- Follow and teach lesson plans provided by the Lead Teacher.
- Prepare in advance by studying course material when possible.
- Assist students in developing a thorough understanding of the subject matter.
- Utilize classroom and behavior management techniques to foster an effective and positive learning environment.
- Build relationships with students, staff, and the broader school community.
- Ensure all class responsibilities and project deadlines are met.
- Provide the Lead Teacher with a detailed report on lessons, activities, and class behavior.
