Overview
The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and other healthcare professionals. The PCT assists with daily patient activities, helps monitor vital signs, and ensures that patients are comfortable and well-cared for. Responsibilities
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating.
- Help patients move, transfer, and ambulate as needed.
- Assist in the positioning of patients for comfort and safety.
- Measure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and respiratory rate.
- Observe patients for changes in condition and report to nursing staff.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Patient Care Technician training program is preferred.
- Previous experience in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or emergency medicine is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.

- Must be able to pass background checks and any required certifications.
