What are the responsibilities and job description for the Revenue Accountant - Oil & Gas position at 361 Services?
We are working with a fantastic oil & gas client in their search for a Revenue Accountant. This is a great position for an early career candidate with an accounting degree and 1-2 years of experience.
The ideal candidate will have a BS and/or MS in Accounting, 1-2 years public accounting experience and oil & gas experience OR 1-2 years accounting experience in an oil & gas company. Additionally, they want a candidate that has an enthusiasm for learning and development and that takes ownership of their responsibilities.
Position responsibilities
- Enter revenue into accounting system
- Record journal entries
- Account reconciliations
- Prepare accruals for month-end
- Other duties as assigned
Experience required
- BS and/or MS in Accounting
- High level of proficiency in Excel required
- BOLO, Excalibur, SAP or other accounting system experience is a plus
Compensation
Base salary - $65,000 - $75,000
Bonus target – 15%
Long-term incentive plan – 10% (3 year vest)
401(K) match – 6%
M/D/V insurance is great
Vacation – 120 hours / 15 days
Sick days – 80 hours / 10 days
