Our goal: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Behavior Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about working with children and possess a strong desire to learn and grow in the field of ABA.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct one-on-one ABA therapy in various settings, including homes, schools, and community environments.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress using various data collection methods.
- Implement behavior management strategies to address challenging behaviors.
- Assist with the development of teaching materials and resources.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualification
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed records.
- Physical ability to engage in activities such as playing, running, and lifting (as needed).
- Experience with ABA principles and procedures.
- Knowledge of specific data collection software or applications.
- Experience working with electronic data collection.
