What are the responsibilities and job description for the Qualified Mental Health Professional position at 36th Judicial District Juvenile Probation Department?
As a Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will leverage your expertise in therapy, psychopharmacology, and gender issues to provide comprehensive mental health services. You will offer counseling and behavioral health support to a diverse client population. Your QMHP certification and experience in addressing mental health concerns will be instrumental in promoting holistic well-being. You will have the flexibility to deliver services in various settings, ensuring accessibility and quality care for individuals in need. To be eligible for employment as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, a person must: 1) pass a criminal background check; 2) complete a pre-employment psychological evaluation; 3) have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology (preferred); 4) At least two years prior experience in working in the behavioral health field 5) One (1) year of experience working with juvenile and their families (preferred); 6) Bilingual- Spanish (preferred); (7) Must have a valid Driver's License.
