JOB SUMMARY
As a Process Engineer, you will maintain and take part in the design of our AirSCWO systems. This will include providing support during commissioning and the initial testing of systems, assessing and monitoring equipment and overall systems performances to drive design and operational improvement, and being a bridge between engineering and operations. The role will require a combination of office work and fieldwork, as well as significant travel and time on-site.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a Process Engineer, you will perform many tasks related to designing, maintaining, and optimizing the process in our AirSCWO systems in construction and deployment. Specific tasks of the Process Engineer role include :
- Interact with systems that involve high pressure and high heat components, valves, pumps, compressors, hydraulics, heat exchangers
- Interact with instrumentation (pressure sensors, level sensors, temperature sensors, flowmeters, analyzers, etc.), monitor instruments’ health
- Keep process documentation updated and organized (P&IDs, equipment and instrumentation lists, datasheets, IOMs, etc.).
- Interact with historian databases
- Monitor equipment and system-wide performance to drive design and operational improvements
- Build dashboards, KPIs and reports for internal and external use
- Interact with equipment and instrument manufacturers
- Help build maintenance plans and maintenance SOPs
- Optimize productivity by designing, implementing and testing new operating and maintenance procedures
- Other duties as assigned
