Commercial Management Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee the management and operations of our commercial properties in downtown Saint Paul. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial property management, excellent customer relationship management skills, and the ability to handle various responsibilities efficiently.
Duties:
- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of commercial properties
- Ensure compliance with lease agreements, local laws, and regulations
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely manner
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure proper maintenance and identify any issues
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for property repairs and maintenance
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns
- Prepare annual budgets and financial reports for each property
- Monitor rental rates and market trends to maximize property occupancy and revenue
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals with tenants
- Conduct regular market analysis to determine competitive rental rates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
- Proven experience in commercial property management
- Strong knowledge of property management laws and regulations
- Proficient in data entry and using property management software (e.g., OneSite)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Sales experience is a plus
- Knowledge of contract negotiation is preferred
