Job Description
The Social Media and Marketing Manager will oversee all aspects of the food truck park's digital and traditional marketing efforts. This role requires a mix of creative content creation, social media expertise, event marketing, and data-driven decision-making to boost park attendance and engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Management:
- Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and Twitter.
- Create and schedule engaging posts, stories, and videos that highlight food trucks, events, and park activities.
- Monitor and respond to audience engagement, fostering a positive online community.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with food truck vendors and staff to create high-quality photos, videos, and written content.
- Ensure content aligns with the park’s branding and messaging.
- Marketing Strategy:
- Plan and execute marketing campaigns to promote events, special offers, and park activities.
- Design email marketing campaigns and newsletters to engage subscribers.
- Utilize analytics tools to track campaign performance and adjust strategies for optimal results.
- Event Promotion:
- Work closely with the Event Coordinator (or other team members) to market live entertainment, themed nights, and other special events.
- Develop promotional materials, including posters, flyers, and digital assets.
- Brand Growth:
- Build partnerships with influencers, local businesses, and media outlets to expand the park’s reach.
- Stay updated on trends in social media and marketing to keep strategies fresh and innovative.
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- A degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience (2 years) in social media management and marketing, preferably in hospitality, events, or food/beverage industries.
- Strong storytelling and content creation skills, including graphic design, video editing, and photography.
- Proficiency in tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar content-creation software.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Google Analytics) and data interpretation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food, community events, and creating memorable experiences.
