Agile Product Management Advisor - Evernorth Health Services - St. Louis, MO

The job profile for this position is Agile Product Management Advisor which is a Band 4 Career Track Role with Evernorth Health Services.​

Responsibilities

• Support Cigna’s Supplemental Health Solutions, which offers insurance products designed to supplement standard medical insurance.

• Analyze business strategies and prioritize initiatives for Supplemental Health and Stoploss.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and the Product Manager Senior Manager to define product solutions.

• Work closely with internal business users to understand business requirements and to define product epics and features.

• Support the Solution Council, Product Council, and Application Delivery Teams (Scrum teams) to define content and coordinate release cycles and product increments.

• Consult with the business stakeholders to understand business requirements.

• Translate business requirements into Epics and Features.

• Define and prioritize Agile Release Train (ART) goals.

• Maintain Program Backlog and decompose Portfolio Epics.

• Obtain business owner approvals as needed.

• Resolve issues escalated by teams and business leads.

• Consult and advise on functionality, applicability, and usability of technology solutions to project requirements.

• Proactively manage risks and dependencies.

• Maintain and enhance existing products.

• Proactively resolve upstream dependencies and effectively facilitate resolutions across teams.

• Propose and advocate for process improvements.

• Virtual/work from home benefit (hybrid schedule) available.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in any STEM (science, technology, engineering, or math) field and 3 years of IT experience.

• Must have experience with: healthcare domain; managing software delivery through agile methodology; using agile techniques and Dev-ops tools to manage software releases; creating use cases and process flows using UML and Visio diagrams; creating prototypes, wireframes, user screen sitemaps, and screen navigations; translating business needs into technical specifications; documenting and reporting functional requirements; providing technical and functional expertise in identifying, evaluating, and developing software systems; using application and database queries, data analysis, and data modeling techniques for data requirements and specifications; and using project management and product management tools for product delivery. 

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
