Job Description:
The Strategic Sourcing Manager role is responsible for end-to-end sourcing of raw materials, leading the development and execution of strategic plans by understanding spend and stakeholder landscapes, leveraging market intelligence, industry knowledge, and cross-functional collaborations. This position brings value to 3A through assurance of supply, quality, service levels, innovation, and cost. Key success factors include supplier selection and management, contract negotiation, data analysis, supply chain optimization, and risk mitigation.
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a similar field
- At least 3 years of Strategic Sourcing experience along with 5 years of relevant operations/supply chain experience
- Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office and MRP systems (SAP experience preferred)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in related tools (intermediate to advanced Excel skills and PowerBI dashboard experience preferred)
- Master's degree in business or a similar field (preferred)
- Procurement certifications or advanced training (i.e., CSP, CSMP, ISM, negotiations training, etc.) (preferred)
- Certification in process improvement or lean/six sigma principles (i.e., yellow or green belt certification) (preferred)
- Will to travel at least 5-10% for business purposes
