REQUIRED WOR SETTINGS: Adult Acute Care, ICU and Emergency Department
**Skills: Isolation Precautions, Management/lead experience, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs, Venipuncture
*Abdomen, Pelvis & Chest Skills: Abdomen w/o and/or with contrast, Pelvis w/o and/or with contrast, Chest w/o and/or with contrast, Vascular Chest
*Head & Neck Skills: Carotid, Head w/o and/or with contrast, Sinuses, Soft tissue neck, Trauma head,
*Spine and Musculoskeletal: Cervical, Lumbar, Musculoskeletal trauma, Thoracic
Certs: BLS, ARRT CT
PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP:
Equipment: PACS
Skills: Colorectal Studies (rectal contrast), Heart, 3D rendering, Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Region of Interest (ROI)
Special Procedures: Aspirations, Biopsies, Brain Perfusion, CT arthrography, Drainage, Myelography

SHIFT: *40 Hours Can Be Offered
Unit will 13 Weeks!
8 HOUR MIDS; 14:30 - 23:00

Call Requirement: Occasionally call, everyone is on a weekly rotation 11p-6a 7 days a week. It comes out to about every 8 or 9th week you must take call.
Float Requirement: NONE
Weekend Requirement: It would be an 8-hour shift on a Saturday or Sunday if a weekend tech was off and we couldn t find coverage. The traveler would be off a day during the week and cover the Sat. or Sun. The traveler would be given a 2-week notice if this needed to occur.
PATIENT AGE GROUP: Neonates, Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults & Geriatrics
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: All types of patients and diagnoses.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Busy outpatient and ED schedule.
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Siemens; If an interpreter is needed, we use an i-pad and zoom.

UNIT SYSTEMS: EPIC
SCHEDULING TYPE: Per Unit Needs
UNIT ORIENTATION: 16 Hours of Unit Orientation; Orientation would be earlier in the day, 10a-630p when there are more people here to train. After that point they would be expected to run the machine on their own, but they would never be alone. There is always a tech in the department with them if they have any questions.
