3Core Systems is looking for Sr. Data Analyst for one of our clients in Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid 3/2)

Title: Power BI DEVELOPER / Architect SET UP POWER BI BEST PRACTICES Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid) Duration: 6 Months, CONTRACT TO HIRE Work Requirements: s, Holders, or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

FEEDBACK:
They were more like data architects/engineers. Need more strength in Power BI best practices.

-Needs to be architect-level with knowledge but will also be doing hands on development
-starting off will primarily be working on a program that needs a lead to help follow best practices
-2 leads currently on that project with a very aggressive business partner they need help setting proper expectations (the 2 leads are overloaded which is why they need help)
-a lot of new report development but also some enhancements .. some of the ways they have been doing reports currently
-helping with architecture, setting up best practices a big part of it
-the project is Financial data
-on the side they are going to help Pablo (manager) implement a lot of PowerBI projects they need to stand up such as intake, version control, monitoring

-azure database is where all the data is stored (billions of records) - -experience with large data sets
-they also want someone show what Fabric can do (fabric is a big plus)
Overview
The Sr Power BI is highly skilled data analytics professional with experience in reporting, warehousing, database design, and business intelligence. The position will have a strong understanding of frameworks to enhance business intelligence capabilities. This position is responsible for implementing best practices, implementing the IT Enterprise Data Management's business intelligence infrastructure, and collaborating with business stakeholders in BI solutions. This is a high-pressure environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement the end-to-end Power BI infrastructure including intake, release pipeline, data migrations, business delivery
Dashboard development, database testing, warehouse documentation, and collaborating with business stakeholders
Be involved in the analytics infrastructure including discussions regarding database solutions, including designing schemas, complex queries, and ensuring data integrity
Lead Power BI Developers in ensuring best practices are followed, solutions, and tracking project progress
Demonstrate proficiency in data warehousing, including the implementation of reconciliation and validation frameworks
Advanced experience in reviewing and trouble-shooting complex issues and designs
Understand and analyze requirements and develop, deploy, and configure data warehouse processes with a focus on optimization and efficiency
Perform ad hoc data quality checks and manual fixes on pipeline data to support data quality management and issue remediation processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and negotiation for mutually beneficial solutions
Integrate data from various sources to support documented business requirements
Qualifications
BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a seasoned Data Analyst.
Expertise in Power BI development.
Experience with databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM frameworks
Familiarity with data warehouse development, including the implementation of reconciliation and validation frameworks.
Experience in data profiling, statistical analysis, data analysis, and data standardization / cleansing techniques
Understanding of version control systems
High energy, self-motivation, attention to detail, creativity, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
