Position Summary
The Program Manager is responsible for customer product delivery schedules, planning, managing, and tracking. The Program Manager reports to the Chief Executive Officer.
Primary Responsibilities
Leads all phases of assigned customer programs from initiation through delivery.
Applies established technologies using standard principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to provide solutions to a variety of technical and programmatic problems.
Assigns and monitors the health of projects, providing team support and direction when necessary.
Tracks all customer projects and deliverables.
Accomplishes objectives through coordination and teamwork with other departments and stakeholders, including suppliers and customers.
Makes decisions that could greatly impact outcomes, where errors could cause serious schedule delays and the expenditure of additional time and resources.
Performs additional functions and other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
Education & Experience
Required :
Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
10 years of customer program management experience.
Experience in the semiconductor / hardware industry.
Preferred :
Familiarity with aerospace and government procurement, including DFARs and DCMA.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance.
Legal / Compliance
Must have lawful access to ITAR / EAR-controlled information. Requirements include ability to meet contract-specific licensure requirements.
Travel up to 10% to support contractual program milestone requirements, such as PMRs and supplier visits.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrates technical expertise and application of program management principles, concepts, and practices.
Possesses program management and leadership skills, including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet deadlines or milestones.
Familiarity with traditional project management tools.
Ability to develop solutions that require the coordination of technologies across program requirements.
Working knowledge of Microsoft software, including Project (or similar planning software).
