Landscape Construction Laborer
We are hiring for full-time and part-time positions with wages starting at $20–$27 per hour, depending on experience. Technical experience with irrigation systems, masonry, retaining walls, pavers, or artificial turf is a major plus!
Job Summary
The Landscape Construction Laborer will play an integral role in our team, assisting with various landscaping and hardscaping tasks. These include laying sod, planting trees and shrubs, pruning, watering, digging, raking, grading, installing irrigation systems, laying pavers and flagstones, constructing retaining walls, and completing drainage projects. This position requires hands-on hard work and offers technical educational opportunities in outdoor environments under various weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with landscaping and hardscaping tasks under the guidance of the Foreman.
- Operate landscaping equipment and tools safely.
- Maintain a clean and safe worksite, adhering to safety protocols.
- Load and unload materials and equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Dig holes for planting and irrigation work.
- Push wheelbarrows of dirt, rock, bark, or other bulk materials.
- Follow directions from the Foreman to complete tasks efficiently.
- Be mindful of physical and mental well-being on job sites.
- Practice self-care and recovery from daily labor.
Technical Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of landscaping techniques (hardscape and irrigation experience preferred).
- At least 1 year of landscape construction experience.
- Ability to operate small heavy equipment (e.g., skid-steers, mini-excavators).
- Proficiency in installing and repairing irrigation systems.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
- Extensive outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Requires physical and mental fitness to operate construction machinery and perform manual labor.
