3D Logics is an advanced additive manufacturing facility located in Hillsboro, Oregon. We are ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified, and FDA registered. Our main focus is providing contract manufacturing for medical devices, but also service customers in aerospace, automotive, industrial, artistry, and consumer industries. We specialize in SLS (plastic) and DMLS (metal) 3D printing, and utilize a variety of post-processing technologies to create fully functional end-use parts.
Summary:
As a 3D Printing Production Operator, you will play a crucial role in our additive manufacturing process. You'll be responsible for operating and maintaining 3D printers, ensuring the production of high-quality parts, and performing post-processing tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
3D Printing Operation: (training will be provided)
Use 3D printing software to prepare parts for printing
Set-up and operate 3D printers according to production schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during printing.
Maintenance and Calibration:
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on 3D printing machines, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.
Service printer components as needed to ensure continuous operation.
Material Handling:
Prepare and load materials into the 3D printers.
Maintain and organize inventory of 3D printing materials and supplies.
Quality Control:
Measure and examine completed parts to verify conformance to specifications using precision tools like calipers and gauges.
Implement quality assurance procedures and report any defects or deviations.
Post-Processing Tasks:
Perform support removal from printed parts (DMLS metal).
Depowder and clean parts.
Operate post processing equipment and hand tools
Documentation:
Maintain detailed records of printing parameters, maintenance activities, and inventory.
Provide documentation for production runs.
Soft Skills:
Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
High level of manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Technical education or certification in 3D printing is a plus.
