BioCAD Technician

We are seeking a full-time entry level BioCAD Technician who can thrive in our fast-paced environment importing patient-specific medical data and handling technical customer communications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong technical aptitude for working with medical imaging technologies. Experience with 3D modeling software is preferred but not required as training will be provided. What You Will Do

• Download and import DICOM (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) data for patient cases
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including engineers, clinicians, and customers
• Maintain detailed records for each case in accordance with our Quality Management System
• Process medical image data to create accurate 3D anatomical models
• Support the creation of patient-specific medical tools and devices
• Troubleshoot basic technical issues related to medical imaging data
• Assist with quality control processes to ensure accuracy of final deliverables
• Learn and apply industry standards for medical device design and documentation
• Participate in training to develop specialized skills in medical modeling and BioCAD technologies
  
  

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Fresh perspective valued; we'll provide all the necessary training for this entry-level role
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel
• Professional communication skills to interact with various stakeholders
• General knowledge of human anatomy
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality in final deliverables
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with 3D design in CAD (Computer Aided Design) software
• Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
• Familiarity with medical devices and regulatory requirements (FDA, ISO 13485, etc.)
