What We Are Looking For
- Build and lead a global revenue accounting team
- Oversee the recording of revenue transactions in accordance with Accounting Standard Codification 606 for all of 3DS.
- Manage the development and maintenance of the estimated stand-alone selling prices
- Review and analyze complex, multi-element revenue arrangements and document the accounting treatment
- Perform analytical reviews of monthly revenue to identify trends and/or anomalies
- Own and execute revenue controls and enhance, as necessary
- Communicate regularly with the sales, sales operations, order management and accounts receivable departments to prevent, identify or resolve revenue accounting issues
- Support the financial reporting team with preparation of the quarterly and year end revenue disclosures.
- Consult with sales and legal on revenue arrangements to recommend terms and conditions that will optimize the timing of revenue recognition
Qualifications
What You Will Bring
- Minimum of 5 years “Big 4” public accounting experience in the accounting and audit function with a primarily US public company client base
- 10 years of progressive accounting industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of Oracle EBS, Salesforce.com and Hyperion Financial Management systems preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Licensed CPA
- Desire to join a fast-paced Finance organization and company
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to be challenged
- Strong collaboration mindset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to anticipate and direct solutions to complex and/or unusual accounting issues
- Experience within a global organization with multiple reporting units
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
