Role Overview: Partner Engagement Director
The 3DE Partnership Engagement Director is a member of the local 3DE implementation team led by Junior Achievement of Tampa Bay and is responsible for business partner integration. Within this role, you will work collaboratively with other members of the team to source company partners who support the vision for 3DE by helping to bring learning to life for students. This role requires a solutions-minded approach, utilizing established systems and processes as well as creating new, more efficient, and customer-friendly processes to improve the business partner experience. You will be responsible for building relationships with local partners and influencing the activation of the model within the schools. A large part of the role is focused on recruiting, preparing, and managing the business partner experience and troubleshooting issues when they arise. Your work will be pivotal in bringing valuable experiences to students both in the classroom and off-site as part of capstone events where students have an opportunity to showcase their skills. The ideal candidate is a motivated individual with excellent organization, communication, and relationship skills, who is comfortable working as part of a team and can manage multiple projects simultaneously. The 3DE Partnership Engagement Director should have a passion for education, and a commitment to building community support for students and education, by finding caring and committed professionals and businesses willing to support student learning.
Core Responsibilities
- Business Partner/Community Engagement & Integration
- Support the development of the overall strategic vision for business partner integration for the 3DE local market, including a 4-year vision which provides students with a wide diversity of industries and experiences.
- Recruit, prepare, and steward business professionals through all facets of their volunteer journey to ensure a positive experience and increase potential for future engagement.
- Use data to make informed decisions related to business partner engagement, preparedness, impact, and other key quality assurance metrics.
- Volunteer Engagement & Activation
- Effectively utilize established systems and processes to register, track, and report on volunteers as well as trouble shooting issues with volunteers in order to make the registration and participation customer friendly.
- Problem solve challenges related to sourcing, training, and supporting volunteers to proactively create a positive experience for school-based teams, students, and business partners.
- Event Planning & Collaboration with Teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local implementation team and business partners to nurture a collaborative learning community and identify opportunities to leverage resources for the betterment of the school and students.
- Work with school teams to develop processes to seamlessly integrate community engagement in school operations, ensuring partners have welcoming and well-organized experience while on site.
- Work collaboratively and creatively with local 3DE implementation staff, and company representatives to plan and execute on and off-site capstone experiences for students.
Desired Experience
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree required
- Project and Event Management Experience:
- Highly motivated, organized, flexible, and solution-oriented self-starter
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing projects/events even with competing priorities
- Nonprofit Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in nonprofit, mission-driven organizations
- Experience recruiting and managing volunteers
- Relationship Building:
- Proven track record of successful relationship building and management with a variety of key stakeholders
- Proven track record of effective collaboration within a team
- Proficient in the Use of Technology & Written/Verbal Communication:
- Strong communication, presentation, and public speaking skills with experience adapting style based on the needs and perspectives of audiences
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Volunteer Recruitment applications, etc.

- Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000; commensurate with experience
