Position Overview:
We are seeking a Director of Manufacturing & Quality to lead production operations, quality engineering, and operational quality systems for our next-generation intraoral scanner devices. This individual will play a strategic role in ensuring SQDC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost) excellence while maintaining a compliant, high-performing manufacturing and quality organization.
- Lead and manage all SQDC metrics across production.
- Drive manufacturing performance, productivity, and process efficiency.
- Lead and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
- Monitor data on yields, throughput, and defect rates to drive continuous improvement.
- Oversee quality engineering functions and daily quality operations.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Lead internal audits, CAPA processes, and root cause investigations.
- Ensure product and process compliance with ISO 13485 and internal quality standards.
- Build and lead high-performing teams across manufacturing and quality.
- Partner closely with R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory to align priorities and execution.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
- Align production plans with commercial demand and manage material readiness.
- Collaborate with procurement and logistics to maintain supplier performance and incoming quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or related field required).
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or quality functions.
- 2 years in leadership roles, with direct management of teams in production or quality settings.
- Experience in manufacturing engineering or quality engineering within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of QMS frameworks, ideally in medical devices or high-precision manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience with Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and CAPA methodologies.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.
