This is a remote / virtual role.
We are open to candidates from the following states where we already have established operations : AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MS, NE, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WI, WV.
Job Summary
We are seeking a System Administrator with 3 years of experience to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining system infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. You will play a key role in troubleshooting issues, optimizing system operations, and supporting the organization's IT needs.
Key Responsibilities
- System Management : Deploy, manage, and monitor Windows / Linux servers, cloud environments, virtualization platforms, Microsoft and other software platforms.
- Security & Compliance : Implement security best practices, principal of least privilege practices, and ensure data protection through backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Monitoring & Performance Optimization : Use monitoring tools to analyze system / network performance and proactively resolve potential issues.
- Troubleshooting & Support : Provide technical support for infrastructure and end user issues ensuring minimal downtime.
- Cloud & Virtualization : Work within VMWare virtual environments and various cloud platforms for infrastructure and user management.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain technical documentation and software configurations.
- Deployed Solutions Support : VMware, Microsoft Server OS, Microsoft 365, DUO, Citrix, Veeam, etc…
- Call Center Agent Participation : Daily sign into IT support call queue to provide end user support
- Escalation Support : Escalation On Call support responsibilities that rotate on a weekly basis (1 week in every 7 when team staffed fully)
- Performs other duties as assigned.
