Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. This role involves both warehouse duties and driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient logistics and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, route driving, and operating box trucks or vans.
Duties
- Safely operate a box truck or van for route driving to deliver goods to various locations.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care of items.
- Perform warehouse tasks including organizing inventory, picking orders, and maintaining cleanliness in the storage area.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients.
- Assist with moving items within the warehouse as needed, ensuring efficient workflow and organization.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and in the warehouse environment.
Skills
- Experience with moving and heavy lifting is essential for this role.
- Proficient in route driving with a valid driver’s license; experience with manual transmission is a plus.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations including inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients during deliveries.
- Ability to operate a box truck or van safely and efficiently, following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and standing for extended periods.
