Job Description

3L Logistics Inc., in St. Peters, Missouri, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our growing team (250 employees)! We are a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground, with multiple locations including Ottumwa (IA), Waterloo (MO), Rockford (IL), St. Louis (MO), Columbia (MO), Humboldt (TN), and our newest location, St. Peters (MO)! Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, reliable, and hard-working.

Responsibilities of Operations Manager :

Holding team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed

Delegating tasks and projects and providing follow-up action

Ensuring business quality standards are met

Developing and implementing best practices to maximize team efficiency

Route planning and management

Assisting with the hiring process - interviewing candidates, onboarding, offboarding as needed

Assist in delivering packages as needed

Qualifications of Operations Manager :

Experience working as a manager or in a leadership role

Previous experience within FedEx is preferred but not required

Ability to listen and communicate effectively with team members and management

High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills

Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize

Must be mechanically inclined for basic truck needs.

Able to deliver packages efficiently

Requirements

Must be age 21

Safe driving record

Valid Driver's License

Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.

Must be able to pass a DOT drug test.

Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.

Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation depends on your experience.
