Responsibilities:
We are seeking a proficient SharePoint Engineer/Developer to join our team and play a vital role in installing, configuring, and enhancing SharePoint systems. As the SharePoint Engineer/Developer, you will take charge of managing system operations and services, collaborating with users to provide support and training, safeguarding SharePoint data through backup procedures, and overseeing the associated SQL Server database.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and upgrade SharePoint systems, ensuring their optimal performance.
- Manage day-to-day operations and services of SharePoint, addressing any issues promptly.
- Provide training and user support to enhance SharePoint usage across the organization.
- Execute backups to preserve critical SharePoint data and maintain data integrity.
- Oversee the SQL Server database supporting SharePoint, ensuring its seamless operation.
- Collaborate with Treasury clients to gather program and user requirements, shaping SharePoint applications accordingly.
- Manage diverse environments including development, testing, staging, and production setups.
- Ensure proper configuration of sites and site collections in alignment with local policies and standards.
- Develop preliminary schedules for database projects, backups, notifications, and replication between SQL Servers.
- Assist in administering various database systems, including Microsoft SQL Server and other DBMS.
- Implement approved SharePoint platform changes in accordance with established architecture.
- Offer Tier III support to service desk and Tier II specialists, ensuring timely issue resolution and high user satisfaction.
- Supervise site and site collection features and functionality.
- Manage user permissions and enforce compliance with governance policies and organizational regulations.
- Support web content managers in utilizing SharePoint features such as web part pages, lists, libraries, forms, and workflows.
- Facilitate resource sharing by managing SharePoint sites effectively.
- Perform OS patching for both SharePoint and the underlying operating system.
- Resolve Tier II and III trouble tickets using advanced troubleshooting techniques.
- Utilize third-party applications and native SQL Server tools for efficient database management.
- Adhere strictly to customer-approved processes for system maintenance and change management.
- Provide desk-side and classroom-style training sessions, along with user guides and cheat sheets.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting is preferred.
Qualifications
- Possession of an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI access, including current read-in access to SCI.
- Must be a US citizen, and all immediate family members and household residents must also be US citizens.
*Required Skills/Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in operating SharePoint environments.
- Familiarity with C2S (Amazon Web Services).
- Experience with third-party tools enhancing SharePoint functionality.
- Proficiency in creating and editing custom SharePoint workflows and InfoPath forms.
- Familiarity with SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, and SharePoint 2016.
