Job Title : Software Engineer II (.Net Developer)
Location : Washington, DC
Duration : Full-Time
Role-Specific Duties :
Collaborate with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements for the application.
Participate in the full software development life cycle, including designing, coding, debugging, and configuring systems.
Work with C# / .NET technologies to ensure seamless integration with application operations.
Communicate effectively with end users, team leads, and team members.
Assist with the prioritization of development backlogs and release planning with the client.
Analyze system requirements and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Design, build, test, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# / .NET code.
Test and debug various .NET applications to ensure optimal functionality.
Required Qualifications :
2 years of professional software development experience.
Full-stack development experience, including both front-end and back-end implementation.
2 years of in-depth experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, HTML5, CSS, MS SQL Server, and Identity.
1 year of experience working with Agile methodology and eXtreme Programming best practices, such as Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI / CD, and pair programming.
1 year of experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services).
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure DevOps Server.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Windows Server and IIS management.
Knowledge of building accessible interfaces in compliance with Section 508, Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), and WAI-ARIA standards.
Strong understanding of security best practices at both the application development and hosting layers.
Experience with distributed version control systems, such as GIT and SVN.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration and automated build processes using Azure DevOps Server.
Basic knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure platforms.
Excellent client communication skills.
Candidates must be U.S. citizens or Legal Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) for at least 3 years and must be Federal Tax compliant.
Requires 5 days onsite at the Washington, DC client site.
